Gotta love Republicans and their twisted logic.

Trying to take the moral high ground by being against abortion, but willing to take a 10 year old special needs girl from her mother and deport her to a country she knows nothing about.

Thank you, Trump. I feel so much safer now that shes gone.

You can not make exceptions or else everybody will want a exception. It does not matter if it is a ten year old girl with special needs or a 30 year old serial killer who has been in and out of prison, they must all go.

What I do not understand is why only the kid is being held in custody. If her parents are illegals then they should be in custody too. But since they are not in custody, then that must mean that they are legal citizens of the United States. And if that is true, then why did the child not become a citizen? If legal U.S. citizens have a child abroad then that child can become legal U.S. citizens very easily...

Maybe I am misunderstanding the article. I never read about where the parents are located. But I did see that the child was caught at a checkpoint with her adult cousin who is a legal U.S. citizen. Did the parents send the child across the border and into the U.S. to receive medical care? If what I just asked is true, then the child would not be deported to a place where she has no idea where she is. She should be returned to her parents.

And besides if the parents really cared about the child they would leave the country to go be with their child.

I could be wrong, but the article said that the child was taken into custody after she was given medical care.

I feel like you did not even take a look at the article. And it does not matter if she has medical issues. If you are in any country illegally then you should be deported regardless of the situation.

This whole news article is just a way to make Republicans look bad.

Yes the child has cerebral palsy, but we do not know how badly she is affected by it. It could be very mild cerebral palsy or it could be very strong cerebral palsy.

The news organization is using the child's disability to their advantage. Did you know that "Worldwide, the incidence of cerebral palsy is 1 in 500 births. There are currently 17 million people in the world who have cerebral palsy." ( [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] ) The article was making it seem way worse than it really was. They are playing with your emotions by saying that she has a disability. The current title of the article is "Undocumented Girl With Cerebral Palsy in Federal Custody After Being Stopped on Way to Texas Hospital". If they took out "With Cerebral Palsy" this article would not attract very much attention, and they know it. And the title is phrased in a way that makes it seem like she was in the hospital because of her cerebral palsy. When that is not true. She was in the hospital for "emergency gallbladder surgery".

The legality of the situation is that she has to get deported. The issue is the ethical issues of this.

I disagree with that, if they came to the US illegally then how are they supposed to pay for treatment? The tax payers money is being used for an illegal alien.
