You're right, that transfer does feel like it takes ages sometimes. Rather save myself money and avoid those fees personally, since I day trade cryptos. Helps to maximize profit off my initial investment. Coinbase buying is good for those that hodl though
Not that I know of, think atomic swaps and shape shift all cost some fee.
so what would you use to convert bit to alt ? personally ? and when you say day trade , are u talking just bitcoin or whaT?

I myself have not done any direct swapping of bitcoin to another alt, so I don't want to give you a bad answer. You would be better off looking up some resources on the topic. But my trading consists of trading other alts on Bitifinex, while selling on tops with my BTC and buying back on dips to help increase my BTC stack over time. That is the end goal, bigger the BTC stack you can hodl the better.

MyNameIsVest wrote So are you guys recommending to use coinbase rather than other sites because its an instant deposit of your money?it depends gdax takes 1 week to deposit your funds (no fees ) but coinbase charges 4% for instant debit card fee or 2% for bank (bank will take a week to deposit the bitcoin but it locks in the buy at the current price of bitcoin that u purchased it at)
so many people think gdax is worth it (and is like this man said if your day trading ) but if your buying to hold you wanna get the best price you can and most the times paying that 2-4% is worth it because within a week the price of bitcoin will have most likley went up well over 2-4% so you get to build up all that rather letting it build up while your waiting for your USD to show up in gdax , Gdax says it takes 4 days to deposit your money but i found it takes more like 6-7

MyNameIsVest wrote300 might not be the best for bitconnect as u only get 1-2% a day but is still enough to start out with for long term as it will compound , but bitcoin itsself is still a good option you dont need a whole 7k$ bitcoin to make money just cuz u dont have a ton of coins dosnt meanStop wroteokay but say i only have $300 dollars to invest im not gonna turn a huge profit on bitcoin thoug??MyNameIsVest wrote so any recomended coin to invest in at the moment?Bitcoin and Bitconnect if you want easy guaranteed money , all other coins are good but very very high risk
your money isnt changing by the same % , your money (no matter how much is in there changes based on bitcoin price ) so if you put in 300 and bitcoin goes up 10% then so does your 300 so for example if bitcoin was to hit 70k when u put ur 300 in at 7k then ur 300 would now be 3000 but thats why maybe you would rather use bitconnect so you can compound your interest over time

MyNameIsVest wroteyou can try other coins like vertcoin or any of the thousands out there they are very risky and change by hours with numbers like + or - 50% its risky , you have to research coins and ones you think will rise if you wanna play with anything thats not bitcoin or connectStop wroteokay but say i only have $300 dollars to invest im not gonna turn a huge profit on bitcoin thoug??MyNameIsVest wrote so any recomended coin to invest in at the moment?Bitcoin and Bitconnect if you want easy guaranteed money , all other coins are good but very very high risk
