I claim the code, click the link on my email, and it says 'Your entry has been accepted' and I don't get any time when I go to the active boosts

Why is this happening?

Pretty sure people said that it was a scam to get you to download it. Whoever did this wasted their time

It's not a scam considering it's sponsored by COD themselves, I expect they're just having issues giving the time out atm.

You clearly know nothing about it.
You must have a code to use the app, the app doesn't in any way give you a code that you then redeem for XP on your desired console or something (this code to use the app is given on promotional packaging for like Fridge raiders).
And yes, it does explain why people arn't 'receiving anything' (xp) as at the moment they have much larger issues at hand such as keeping the servers online consistantly rather than fixing people getting double xp A$AP Rocky.
