So someone in the gaming community offered me there twitter with 50k followers. If i took this twitter as my own to help promote my youtube channel and stuff like that do you guys think this would help or harm me??? All answers are appreciated!!!

Well, if they're genuine followers then I don't see why it wouldn't benefit you. Pointless if they're not genuine or fakes/bots.
