Seriously, I'm glad you were able to work through it all those years ago, and I know personally this site helped me a lot growing up with my own issues of depression several years ago, even the slightest human interaction can help someone. Sincerely, thanks for not giving up on the site or yourself. See you at twenty.

I was on your staff team for how long and personally talked to you about things and you couldn't even tell me this story Sean.... I'm upset with you.

Most successful people seem to always have a bad start. You worked though it and you are now here. You have achieved a lot and I mean a lot. Gained new friends as well. Very surprised you grammar was on point in this story as while

Congrats on the 10 years Sean! Also thanks for the story

That was inspiring Sean. I was saddened by how you said you compared with where you were at in your life compared to where your friends were at.

You can not put a monetary value on what you have given your members.

Hundreds of thousands of hours played in modded lobby threads hosted by your site.

Hundreds of thousands of memories made because of them.

The shoutbox, the forums, the discord, you name it.... anything that TTG has touched has brought countless hours of joy to over 2 million members.

I can't imagine how incredible that must feel putting it into that perspective. You have touched millions of peoples lives man. As someone who is going into Healthcare, my number one priority in my career is about how many peoples lives I can impact in a POSITIVE way... I'd be pretty damn lucky if I could help 2 million people like yourself in the 10 years I'm at my profession.

Whats more important than anything is happiness and you my friend have given that gift to plenty of people.

My best wishes to you.

Crazy milestone Sean, we've only ever talked under my poor situation and you were very honest. I'm sorry to hear about your childhood. Mine started just like that. My father was the local drug dealer and me and my sister constantly dealt with drunken and high beatings and break ins by people looking for the drugs. It was rough, my mother made the selfless decision to take me and my sister up to PA and make a life for us. We constantly dealt with my father trying to kidnap us and him being in cuffs in front of us. It was rough but here I am some years later raising my family the complete opposite way he raised us. Your past truly defines your future and if you choose to better yourself and truly work hard at it, you can and will fight through the past and make something of yourself.

You did Sean, you truly made something of yourself and we all from this humble community thank you.

I actually don't know where to start with this reply for a topic it touched my heart last night was going to tear up for sure Sean, I guess I should say first thanks for the entertainment on this site, Hosting a Global Giveaway for ALL users to enter most users decided to add their own giveaway item to giveaway but anyways...Listening to us on what feature we like the best, and last but not all - for just being you without you this site wouldn't exist.. Wish I did register in 2008 to experience from the start to now most members have done that and just kinda jelly now just wanted to see the progress. I bet the OG domain costs a lot to run for sure I had my own domain and that was pretty expensive to run monthly. We've all been there using our outdated Windows XP laptops, I haven't got the best laptop I'm running on a Pavilion Intel Core i3. The struggle is real but without my laptop I wouldn't able to visit this site every day like I do because this site is everything to me, it's my life feels like I've grown around this site. (nearly 2 years member already on this site this month) If I was in your shoes the date January 12, 2008

I had a bad start I had a very unstable home life alcoholics not just happy with destroying themselves, but anything they come into contact with. Sadly it's more common than people think, I've seen and given advice before to members on TTG privately if I've seen the subject come up it sucks when you're powerless to do anything but watch. https://www.thetechgame.com/images/chat/smiles/feelsbadman.png

Yeah it's pretty (FeelsBadMan) for sure on my side I'm sorry that you had to experience this at a young age. It really does suck that you have to witness what's around you especially the violence that you witnessed at a very young age. I'm glad that you passed your college exams and the college that you went to was okay for you and that you enjoyed college. It's nice to hear that you passed your exams and has some sort of knowledge of programming but as you say....

I'm not even 10% of what Telli is but I knew enough to get the ball rolling

It's really cool to see how "The Pit Baby" site actually looked like from start to now. I'm glad that kind people messaged you to keep on going with their motivation messages to keep you going as we keep you on going with this site here. I guess thanks for your 10 years of experience with us many plebs out there you had to put up with especially Mikey. Yes of course you had your ups and downs in life but you learn from it that makes you a stronger individual. I just wanted to write all of this just to say thanks for what you've done not only for me but the for site including the members. I wouldn't be spending £100's of pounds that I've done on this site if I didn't like it. Thanks for everything Sean I'm proud of you and anyone as well.

10 years...take a bow son. Not only a milestone but truly an inspirational speech. I myself had a rough start to life. Especially going into my teens. But you've proven if you don't give up and build. Anything is achievable if you put your mind to it.
Congrats on the milestone mate. <3

As a celebration...Famous gets demoted YAYYYY!

It probably took a little to wrote this, not only time but to go back and reenter into those emotions you had growing up and know that it made you who you are today.

I tell people everyday, this is my second family. I am 30 years old and been here almost 8 years and been lurking for 9.

The site has grown, users have come and gone, but it awesome to watch new teens/young adults join, stay and connect with others.

This story is an inspiration to anybody willing to take the time to read. I appreciate every single person who helps make this place run and especially for you on that day in 2008 to start this journey with not much to show for and look at you now.

You are someone I consider family, a brother for sure. We do not talk a bunch, but i mean what family members talk everyday, i know i dont and i still live in the same town as my brother.

Life throws curveballs, you just have to figure out wither you are gonna dodge them or hit them and you my friend with this site, hit a grand slam when life threw you multiple balls at the same time.

Thanks again for all that you do and your story is an inspiration in its own like i stated before. Thanks for being human, telling others youre no better than them and that your PMs are open all the time if they want to talk.
