So I want a new phone and not sure what the recommended ones are these days.
I've been with android pretty much my whole life, Apple is interesting me but stuff like battery life, lightning cable breaking problems always put me off but i love the OS.
Big no no for the X!
I've been thinking about either:
S9 Plus (when it releases)
Pixel 2 XL
iPhone 8 Plus
Want something snappy, quick!

I personally was looking to move on from the iPhone and get an andriod. The one that really caught my eye was the S9 when it releases so that's my suggestion for you.

Would you not miss apple exclusives like imessage, airdrop, facetime etc?

iMessage can nudge off, I can live without it and my messages being green. The only thing I think I'll miss is being able to Facetime people but that isn't too huge of a lost for me, I don't mind not being able to see peoples faces.[/font]

The OS is so so different though. I like the simplicity of iOS, there's no bloatware too but android is full of it most of the time.

I like the IPhone 7 Pluses.
I would recommend that if you want a Apple.
If you want a Android I would recommend the newest Note, I had a Note 3 and loved it!
