Yes I hate it, I was messed around with a previous company and had regular bills coming out that I would have to pay and being messed around by then left me in the shit. I knew my family would happily help me and I knew I could pay them back soon, but boy was I nervous to ask. I left it for as long as I could which made things even worse into I had no choice than to ask to borrow some. I felt so bad and almost felt awkward around them after.
I don't like asking for anything like that really, fine with everything else unless I don't know someone then I find it sometimes hard to ask so openly

I feel you, anxiety is a bitch and it makes just about everything difficult
If you feel someone owes you for something its only fair to ask them to pay up though.
Sometimes you gotta be a savage when people try and walk all over you

22q wroteFletcher wrote well im 23 I have grown out of the stage a long time ago about asking for money!im 23 as well. Asking out girls is definitely the most neveracking question for me right now.
BUT im still nervous asking women on dates (multiple at a time) because sometimes they all say yes then i have to figure out a solution which sucks
Same dude I've been alone since high school which was 4 years ago. I wish it was easier meeting women but unless you're 21 and over and can go to bars / clubs it's not easy. Luckily I got 3 months then I'll try to find some hotties

I don't really ask for loans but sometimes I do things for people and they tend to wait a while to pay and I always think to myself "when am I getting the money?" I just don't like sounding pushy or rude, money just makes the conversations weird. That's where I'm at with the context of the original post.

oh okay, i must have misunderstood. but in that case i wouldnt really feel weird because you did something and you deserved to be paid. But it also depends on how long its been, like if its only been like 30 min i wouldnt ask for it, but it were like a day or two i wouldnt feel weird about it

Everyone has to carry their on weight and thats how I view it. And I don't mind asking for money especially when its owed to me.

Nothing worse than when someone owes you money and you'd like it back but feel rude/scabby asking for it back
It's a tough situation tbh

Ethan wrote It gets weird when I have to ask my roommate every single time to pay her share of the electrical bill and she gets salty about it...
But then I remember idgaf and move on with my day
Isn't she obligated to pay half of it if she lives with you?

It's all about confidence at the end of the day and how you say it even so how you approach that person. I know what you mean so people have anxiety which is their problem even I have it at times.
