The PC sections holds a large number of members who have a high interest in IT in general and plenty that do it as a career myself included. TTG has been much help to many members including myself in learning about IT. Instead of going all defensive, you should possibly take up some reading like I done so you can learn more about IT in general and why people go with specific setups.
My home network is super basic. However, once funds become available, I do want to upgrade it. I fancy whacking my own router & switches in and wire it all into the walls. Might upload the project to TTG. That said, networking is not my forte so I'm expecting plenty of mistakes.

I have checked the PC Section, I'm mostly in the PC Section. I've scrolled through a few hundred posts in the PC Section, and couldn't see or find anything even remotely uniquely helpfull. It's all the same, it's the type of help a user could've googled instead of asking for help on The"Tech"Game out of all the thousands of real Tech Community Forums all over the web, just have to find them. But sure TTG is a good place is you'd like to just spend some time because you're bored or something, or lookup on posts in the PC Section about some "Tech advise" and get a good laught but other than that, it's pretty dead. Even the all famous Call of Duty and GTA Modded Lobbies and Recoveries on TTG is pretty much dead. How many people are still offering their services, 1 or 2. but In year 2012 there was about 50 to a 100 people offering services and wanted to get invited to modded lobbies every single day. That was the prime days of TTG. Now im just here because i don't really have anything else to do, it's pretty sad i must say.
Back to the topic, I use mostly defensive tech, not once have i commented about offensive tech.

It's actually funny how people dislike my posts, without even replaying back why or even PM. That's okay, I know why. Disliking for no reason other than that you simply don't like my methods of communication and my rightfull opinions. It's so cool how some people replay back that everyone has their right to their opinion, but OBVIOUSLY not. Hahahahahahah

I suggest to visit DSLReports. Its a great website, a handful of network engineers that know their stuff. Topics range from fiber internet installed, home network setups, topics about politics , home improvement topics, gaming, software/ hardware, and many more.
Idk if its against the rules to "promote" a website on here, sorry.
