Central Michigan University officials have stated that police have confirmed that two people were fatally shot on the campus of Central Michigan University on Friday morning. The two people were not students, the school wrote on Twitter. The university said that a suspect was at large and police advised people in the area to take shelter.
Officials in Mount Pleasant, Michigan, where the campus is located, described the suspect as a 19-year-old black male who was about 5 feet, 9 inches tall. He was wearing mustard-yellow jeans and a blue hooded sweatshirt and was considered armed and dangerous.

CMU shooting: Student fatally shot parents in dorm
A Central Michigan University student allegedly shot and killed his parents Friday morning in a fourth-floor dorm room, sources told the Detroit Free Press.
James Eric Davis, Jr. is listed as a sophomore in CMU's student directory.
Sources told the Free Press his parents arrived on campus Friday morning to pick him up for spring break and were shot and killed.
Police said they had contact with him late Thursday night and took him to a local hospital, where he was turned over to the medical staff for what police believe may have been some sort of drug-related issue.
Davis was released from the hospital this morning, shortly before the shooting.

This is disgusting. Imagine being the parent of a child you love deeply, coming to his place to pick him up for vacation, proud of his accomplishments in college, proud that he's going to be doing something great with his life, the child you and your spouse raised from a tiny baby to the man he is now, only for them to pull a gun out on you.
