For console? No. Waste of money.

For PC? Maybe. Depends on your specs, and what games you'll be playing.

What console do you have? Give the specs of your computer and we will be able to help you. You could have an Xbox one x and this would not give you the full potential out of the system. You could have a Nvidia GPU in your PC, so Freesync would not be beneficial for you. The 1ms response time is something I always look for in a monitor, a lot of people will say it doesn't really matter but I disagree as I've had several 5ms+ response time monitors and I noticed a huge difference when I got my first 1ms monitor. I have friends that don't realize the difference on a 5ms monitor compared to 1ms. So it just all depends. Give us what your working with "What Console/PC specs" And we will be able to help you.

It's not that response time doesn't matter, it's that it doesn't mean what most people think it does. You noticing a difference between a monitor with a 5ms response time and one with 1ms doesn't mean much, since the 1ms monitor was probably just a better monitor overall. Response time is probably one of the very last things you should worry about in a monitor, since they're pretty much all going to be reasonable.
