What happened?

People using it to use other peoples saves and sell them on. Vantage was released free and on a non profitable basis, but people went against that.

Seems like there's more to the story than that.
It's obvious that people was going to sell the saves from the start and if people are dumb enough to pay then why shouldn't they?

I don't believe for a second that they completely shut down Vantage because a few people was selling saves. All that hard work gone because of that? No chance.

It's called a donation for a reason, as far as modding goes, people will use anything to make money whether it's from using free software that practically does it for them. I don't think they should've stopped it However, I see why they'd be pissed. Hope to hear more about it though.

It may have been a "donation" but for a "donation" you got some extra features (like early access and TTG also gives you a badge) so it was basically selling something, just worded to make it sound like just a "donation" but now people aren't getting what they paid for right? I completely understand why they were pissed though and also agree on the part where you said people will try to make money on anything, I'm just expressing my option on the "donation" part.
