I was telling a friend that, i pretty much said, they should release it early due to the fact that a couple of games are gonna be coming out during that time, we'd already be burned out by mw2, then bo4 comes along and we get twice the cod this year.

Personally i didn't play WW2 that much, probably like 3 days tops. i went to fortnite because it was so boring.

But what makes me nervous is that releasing it early at 20$ means there's gonna be some sort of micro-transactions, i just hope they do the ww2 way at least, looks different, feels different, same gun.

I really do hope it releases April 30th I graduate at the end of May so just like you said I will be wasting my summer on it for sure lol

That would be the best late birthday present ever.
This would also be the first time in CoD history we see a surprise release which would be completely insane. The only thing I can ever hope for is they don't ruin the game, but I'll also always tell myself that it's never going to be the same.
When I played Mw2, I love Gamebattles, and playing with my friends from school, and grinding for nukes and learning how to snipe and feed. None of that is ever going to be the same, the memories I made on Mw2 to make it the best CoD games was the good times I had, and I'm never going to get those back. Nostalgia is one hell of a feeling, but what's in the past is in the past.
Examples from my experience: Halo 3 and Runescape.
Both remade, both turned pretty bad, both I'll never experience the same memories.

I personally think the same thing, this will by far be the best year for CoD , especially with BO4 coming out in October.
