Quite obvious they won't allow stat transfer because of mods..

Honestly i don't want them to remaster it i think they'll ruin it somehow and with this rumour coming out that its not going to have multiplayer i can already start to tell it was a mistake.

It's campaign only, lots of sources are confirming the game is real, but campaign ONLY. That's what I've heard so far, hoping that seriously changes... I'd consider putting this in your post, so future readers don't get mislead

They just bashed the possibility of the remaster in our faces to then not release the whole game, just the campaign.

Totally agree because I for sure wouldn't buy it.

I truly cannot imagine they would release a game of this magnitude with only campaign. Of all the Call Of Duty's, only the Modern Warfare series is NOT backwards compatible. This explicitly points towards them all being released as remastered editions. With the success of CoD4 remastered, I expect the other two to follow suit.

On top of this, MW2 is arguably the most popular of the series. Like I said, I truly doubt they would release the game with campaign only, rendering it nearly useless with the backbone of CoD being multiplayer. I also don't expect it to be released in April, let alone this year. I wouldn't even expect it to come out with the new CoD this November.
