Hi guys,
My iPad is iOS 7.1.2 and is jailbroken, its abit boring now because i cannot download any apps anymore because my firmware is too low, so is it possible for me to update to iOS 11 - 11.1.2 so i can jailbreak again and it being successful or is it not possible because it isn't signed anymore? and will i have to update to a firmware that is being signed and i cannot jailbreak?

I don't know if you are familiar with saving SHSH blobs from previous updates or not, but if you haven't saved your SHSH blobs then I think Apple forces you to update to the newest possible firmware meaning that you couldn't jailbreak your device. There is supposedly a tool called [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] that can help in restoring/updating/downgrading but I have never used it so I don't actually know if it works or not.
