With the release of the v3.5 update came many new things, The replay feature, port-a-fort, different weapon sounds and switching timings...
However, it seems the people on console are the ones who may have benefited the most from this weeks recent update!

This new control layout allows you to build alot more efficiently, it cuts out the previous task on other layouts of having to scroll to the build type you want, instead it now binds the build type to certain buttons so you can switch directly to it, therefore making things such as wall ramps a possibility on console. Previous to this you could use an edited roof to make stairs and have that beside your walls to make wall ramps, but because it was a roof and not stairs, you could not edit the ramp e.g. rotate it, turn it into a single stair. i am actually in love with this new layout and plan to get really really fluid with it!
Here's a clip of my first game using it, to give people a feel for it:
Now that you've read about it and seen it in action, get out there and try it for yourself! Let me know what you think!

Shhhhhh HELL YES. Gonna check this out right when I get home and get used to it, as well as add another paddle to my controller.
