friend is buying a gaming pc and im not sure if the worth the money , can someone let me know if it is or not?

Am I missing something? The picture shows 4GBS of memory for the 1080 yet it has an 8gb buffer. Could be me being thick but you know.

Pretty sure it's an issue with Speccy tbh. I've seen people that apparently have "2GB 980Ti's" and "4GB 1060s".
OP - I'd try to get it for £1200, maybe 1250. £1300 is a tad high IMO. For £1000, you could build a system with a 6 core Coffee Lake or Ryzen CPU and a 1070Ti, 16GB RAM and maybe even squeeze a 500GB 850 EVO in there. You can get a high refresh rate 1440p monitor for £300ish, +£100 for G-Sync.
