T-Mobile is quite big.. in fact they gained so many customers in the past few years that they overtook Sprint to become the third largest U.S wireless carrier. If you were to combine T-Mobile and Sprint customers under one network, there would be 126.2 million customers, just 15.4 million behind AT&T, the second largest carrier.

As a former user of T Mobile, I'm excited for them. They offered me a lot of great deals, and they always had great customer service when it was needed, which wasn't often.
I'd still go straight through them if it wasn't for Google Fi and my constant travels.

T-Mobile and Sprint are the lowest quality top competing cell phone service providers, them merging together is good and all but it's not going to compete with Verizon or AT&T, this will just simply help them survive against them.
