A gears 5 announcement would be absolutely awesome. But I'm kinda disappointed to see them hop on the BR hype, I feel like epic could do something else on this one and keep the BR to fortnite.

Yeah, would be a little annoying to see a Batte Royal for Gears lol, everyone just trying to do it because of how successful Fortnite has been lol. I'd be disappointed to see it for gears.

I can't wait for a gears 5 if they do decide to hop on the Battle Royale hype train I hope they can do it right and with their own style.

Just give me a legit halo game so I can relive my childhood again.

I wonder if for the Gears Battle Royale that they will have people fall in like every other BR game.... You know what would be cool:

1) Having them come up from underground... they are in a master drill machine and then when you want to jump you can drill up with one of those drill machines that Dizzy has you use. Could be cool.

2) Cornucopia style like the hunger games

I also wonder if their "Battle Royale" mode might just be silirmar to warzone ( I believe is the one life mode) with more then 2 teams. I think that would be a fun mode, can't wait to see what they're idea is

I feel like they could integrate a bunch of different styles of Battle Royale, just like fortnite has the LTMs, they could have it for gears and any other game really.

I hope all these BR remakes are going to have theor own unique aspects, they need a few to actually rival a free game.

Using their old games best aspects is a must like with BO4 using old characters etc, gears could utilise this too as well as making maps old school moments of campaigns but made into a map etc.

CoD also said that older maps would make their way to blackout in some way. That would be really cool to see in gears, the characters for gears would also work super well because there have been so many in the series
