Every time it rains or some little storm comes in I lose tv for 30 minutes to hours.

Terrible service! I hate satellite tv.

And no there is no Comcast available here.

That's why I decided to switch to Sling, but there's also YouTube TV as well - you should check them out, both work great.

Get Youtube TV it's fire and you can watch on your phone or cast to your TV with the xbox app

Can't switch the only other provider is Dish and they suck just as bad.

I always had that problem back when I was living with my mother and step dad.
It was horrible even the slightest bit of rain would turn it off, was quite frustrating at times

Have you thought about getting a firestick? I have one and I rather that over direct tv for when I did have satelite.
