I don't know anyone on site enough to need/want to go in there, i pop in probably 1 or 2 times a month if i remember.

plus im more of a talk guy, not a type guy, if there was a popular ttg discord or in a xbox party id be on it.

I love the shoutbox but it's just not the same as it used to be. Lots of older members I came to know are either inactive or left the site entirely.

Dont wanna start any huge arguments in fact after this response I most likely wont even look at others responses to this (if there even are any) but the shout box doesnt always seem very welcoming to newer people and often times people get rude with others and dont wanna risk getting in trouble so they dont defend themselves and just end up leaving. Not only that but the shoutbox is full of the same people who always use it so they always converse with each other and not so much with new comers, now this is all my opinion but thats what I observe when I rarely go in there.

I've been on this website since 2011 and this is probably why I've ever used it; people aren't welcoming to newcomers or they just get ignored. Other than that, I'm not the type of guy to use the shoutbox.

I just returned after 1 and a half years today and everyone seems fine in there, will continue to try and be as active as possible and make some new friends

A lot of people usually don't come because of their self-esteem cant handle the joking among members and taking things a little too serious. I mean, half of the Ask The Staff topics in the past were disputing on members being rude or saying things they shouldn't. There's a line to when it's joking with someone you've known for awhile on the site to where its actually serious and that member is taking things a little far because he may not know you as much and is just set in that joking mood because that's what the shoutbox is, a joke. BUT, that line usually NEVER gets crossed unless its Spencer or Loke of course.

Also, not many new members are getting as active or fulfilled with the site like us regular members did when v4 or v3 was out. Discord is also another thing that's bringing the shoutbox down because it's newer, you can party in it, and its just so much further in programming than this trashbox.

Just my opinion, idk.

I like how one of the unwelcoming members has to make a topic asking why people don't join.
