What is your budget and currency? 1000 GBP
Do you need a monitor? Yes. 2 if poss, one for gaming and other for general browsing so won't need to be high spec(?)
Do you need a keyboard? Yes.
Do you need a mouse? Yes.
Do you need an operating system? Yes.
What will you use the PC for? Mainly gaming - Fortnite, PUBG, maybe some D2 etc
1000 is what I'd like to spend but if it drifts over for a decent upgrade on something then I'll be able to accomodate. Overclockers run a finance service for parts I can't quite afford upfront!
I'm unsure in this field but PC gaming is what I've always wanted to get involved in so I'm just going to go ahead and do it. Or i wont!

Honestly dude that is a super low budget for 2 monitors and K&M.
even if you get 2 very low end monitors and cheap gaming peripherals its still going to be a couple hundred of the budget.
If i was you i would either get a nicer system all on finance or try to save up a little more so you can afford to buy the parts outright

1000 is what I have upfront. Costs of finance can be whatever, I don't know much about what's good and what's not. Just that buying a pre-build is a bad idea. I can spread it over a year or two so could probably spread the excess cost over a year or two. Probably put another 1k on top of that?
I just want to be able to run games at decent FPS.

Im sure 13 will tell you im wrong but this is good imo slightly over budget but it looks good man
Thanks mate! Let's see if 13 agrees with you haha!
You'd be quite suprised check PCSpecialist as they do financed PC(Custom) to your individual needs and you can put down a deposit to lower your monthly cost and if it ever breaks they repair it also if you wish to upgrade down the line they also do that:)
The main reason people will kinda struggle with the budget is simply because you need an entire set up- the 1000 you have will probably be left with 500-600 give or take

Yeah, no, definitely don't get this. Locked i7 with a Z370 motherboard and high end cooler makes no sense. Corsair K55 is trash. It's an over priced membrane keyboard. 120GB SSD doesn't belong in a £1k system, never mind £2k. I like what you were thinking for monitors but newer NVidia GPUs can have issues when running two monitors with different refresh rates, unfortunately. The RAM is just over-priced. Ryzen pretty much requires faster RAM, and while Intel CPUs do see some benefit with faster RAM, it's fine to run 2400/2666MHz with Coffee Lake, so he could easily get 16GB DDR4 for £50 less than the kit you chose. No need to waste money on RAM when it's already over priced. You can get better priced 1080s, but you can get a 1070Ti for under £400 which is just better value than a 1080 anyway.
OP - No, that system with the i3 is terrible.
I'm assuming you wont be overclocking. If you'd like to overclock, you'll want Ryzen instead. Since you've got a grand, this is what Id recommend;

Total: £1011.34
You can use Win10 for free and buy a key later if you want. Just dont pay any more than 30 quid for a key. I included the system and monitors, but not kb+mouse. Id recommend grabbing a cheap £20 kb/mouse combo for now as you can easily upgrade those later. You can drop the Cryorig cooler for now and just run stock cooler to get the system under 1k, it's easy enough to add the Cryorig M9i later anyway when you have a spare 20 quid. You'll also probably want to add another 8GB RAM when you can, but 8GB will be fine for now. I've included a nice 500GB SSD because I can, and it's an absolute steal. 500GB should last you quite a while, but you can easily add an HDD at any point if you need more storage, 1TB is only like £30 these days and £50 for 2TB.
