I am just wondering if i could jailbreak my ps3 myself with them being a old console and be able to install menus and host online (etc.) But i dont know how to do so and do not want to risk following a youtube video and bricking my console any help would be apreciated - Thanks.

I'm not an expert but I'd rather buy another ps3 that's already jail broken so you don't damage your current console and have to buy a new one anyway!
