Lots are saying my topic was pointless which it might be, but its not in the General Discussion forum. Its in the rant forum where posts like this go. I really didn't think so many people get so upset about a simple topic on a website that is criticizing another member's topic. Quantity over quality has really taken over the site and you can see that in members like Mikey. Its sad to see that is what pixels on a screen does to someone, but if that helps them sleep at night then I am good with it.

These quotes certainly do carry a lot of truth. I just don't voice my opinion on them usually. If I see a cringey topic, I'll scroll past and ignore it and let's be honest - you just have to look at who's posted it to know it's not even worth your time.

But 'cause you're nosey you'll click into it and see the same people posting their low quality replies - to increase post count.

Moral of the story - recognise and ignore the users who you know post a pile of nonsense.

Great way of putting it. Everyone can filter the posts themselves. Just remember who posts worthless posts, much like this one, and you'll easily be able to filter things yourself.

I can agree that people nowadays are more focused on their post count than posting with quality and I can agree that some threads are pretty pointless.

And while you are in the General Discussion forum... So are they. They literally have the same opportunity that you do to post threads, no matter what the hell they write in it. If the thread was pointless or just ridiculous spam, the Staff would take care of it, if they feel need be.

RICHARD riders? Dude... You've said that the age demographic has changed but then you write shit like this which makes people think that you're in the age demographic you're complaining about. It's just a website, there's really no need to take something as simple as THREADS this seriously. We're mostly all grown-ups on the site and as a grown-up, you can make the choice of not using the Forums again, it's as simple as clicking the "Sign Out" button on the top right corner of the page.

There aren't any serious topics anymore because people will quickly complain that the Forums are for gaming and that serious topics (depression, family, life in general) should be kept out of the Forums because it doesn't fit with the site's main purpose.

100% Agree like Personal Stuff like Dating or Issues with Family Doesnt really Belong on this site at all or if it is going to be on this site it should have a spot for it!

To be honest. All topics/Threads staff related or User related should not be allowed especially favouritism ones . Claiming your "favourite" staff/user is a subject that's caused a lot of...let's say aggression? In the past. Some see it as a simple little game or question. But all it takes is one user to disagree, down vote or simple just do a shit post for the count. Then it turns into a very pointless argument a staff member has to deal with. Some users get along, some don't like each other. Some staff like certain users and some they don't. Who cares right? In my eyes, staff have a job here. They ain't here to be liked by anyone.

But i'm with you. I see many pointless/stupid topics. But ayee, just move along man. Don't let it get to you. TTG is nearing 30,000,000 posts. I'm not getting in the way of that.
