Anyways, do not even fumble around cut the Mumbo jumbo and don't ever have any contact with her again. She pure lied to you man and that's what broke my heart the most with my ex. Nobody deserves that and to say she has the audacity to do something like that when you go out of your way to get her such an amazing gift.

Believe me, she will try to make it seem as though it's not her fault and whilst I see nothing wrong with "catching up", as you can never control who you run into in public, I do see an issue with the whole taking his hand and darting off because she was caught. She's obviously immature and not prepared for what you have to offer her, but believe me, someone else will be - sometimes it just takes a little patience. In that, if she's lied about being at her "friends" house, she's obviously planned this and is a blatant disregard for the relationship.
