Definitely Manual, it's fun, girls like it and better gas mileage.

7 speed auto with paddle shifters, good for practicality and you can shift when you please

Why would you ever want a automatic car less horse power as they say.

Same BHP but some HP is lost in the torque converter so it technically is slightly less RWHP. However, automatics are super fast at shifting now, so where it'd loose time in a minor HP loss it gains back in being able to stay in gears.

I think it is really up to you and you have to sit down and make a pros and cons list because your situation will be different from ours!
Personally I would get a standard because my first car was standard and I really enjoyed driving it. My current car(which is my second car) is an automatic. I love it being automatic, but I use the tiptronic feature frequently because I want that standard feeling again.
So I think its really up to you. When you were younger and were thinking about your dream car were you thinking of it being standard or automatic? Hopefully you'll be able to make a pros and cons list with everyones suggestions on here!
Best of luck with your purchase and please post pictures once you buy it

Depends on user preference. My first car was a 5-Speed Mustang GT and I loved it. At the end of the day automatic is far more convenient that's why so many cars are automatic. Sitting in traffic having to play with a clutch and first gear every 15 seconds gets old realllllly quick. So make sure to factor your commute into the decision.
In an ideal life my daily car is auto and my second is a manual when I want to have some fun.

Ouch that's tuff. Well a few things to keep in mind.
Manual clutches have to be replaced depending on wear.
Automatic is usually better at stop and go gas mileage.
Automatic can get boring to drive imo.
Manual is terrible in the snow at least my car lol
All in all it's pretty even and based on preference but I would go with a manual as that's what I drive now and love it. I'm never bored driving. Good luck hope u like the outcome!
