Just a simple topic my friend is looking for a PC in the price range above.
He doesn't care if its pre-built or in separate pieces.

With this PC he intends to edit capture footage collected on xbox and play games such as.

Battlefield V
Arma 3
DayZ
Fallout 4
Doom
Destiny
R6
etc...

Doesn't need to look fancy or anything just preform well.
He would do slightly over 900-1000$ if that helps push the budget.

Lmk if you need any more info.

Do you need keyboard/mouse?
Do you need a monitor?
If no, what monitor(s) will you be using?
Will you overclock?
Any preferences(brands, storage, aesthetics, etc)?

Welp, good luck with that. You're gonna have a pretty tough time finding an 8k monitor lol, and an even tougher time trying to run any games on it, especially with a $900-1000 PC. Instead of spending $1000 on a PC, and then $3000+ or whatever it is on an 8k monitor, it'd be wiser to spend more on the system and less on the monitor.

Does he have a specific monitor in mind, or a budget for the monitor we can work with? Or was the monitor an upgrade he planned for later? If so, what monitor will he be using in the mean time?

although if the costs are to high for a 4k monitor we could always lower that hes not truly worried about the monitor atm.

You can get a 4k monitor for about $350, so that'll be fine lol. Although, if the monitor and system are being purchased at the same time, I'd maybe go with a GTX 1070 and 1440p monitor instead of the RX 580 and a 4k monitor. Here's what I'd suggest for a $900 system though;
[ Register or Signin to view external links. ] / [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

CPU: [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] ($204.99 @ Amazon)
CPU Cooler: [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] ($18.89 @ SuperBiiz)
Motherboard: [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] ($77.79 @ SuperBiiz)
Memory: [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] ($129.89 @ OutletPC)
Storage: [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] ($107.99 @ Walmart)
Video Card: [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] ($239.99 @ Newegg)
Case: [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] ($69.99 @ Newegg)
Power Supply: [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] ($49.99 @ Amazon)
Total: $899.52

You can swap the RX 580 for a 6GB GTX 1060 if you want to spend a little more, but the 580 is a great card and priced really well currently so it's what I'd recommend.
