So me and my good friend work together and Saturday when we were working he was telling me how he doesnt want to work Tuesday because he has that league stuff on Fortnite, well I have Tuesday off and he just texted me asking me if I will work for him and I said no because I know the reason he doesn't want to work and I think it's a dumb ass reason not to work. Then I get a call from the manager asking if I can work for him because he told her that he can't work Tuesday and I told her I'm not gonna. And just now I was on snap he left our group chat and blocked me. Should I just work for him or nah

You did the right thing.

Do not work for him it's your day off.

The place you work for isn't going to take care of you.

I have been in this situation multiple times. And when it came down to it they didn't do anything more for me when raise time came around

Been working since I was 12 yrs old. I am a very dedicated worker and use to work the days other people wanted off. Thing is I work all the time and never take time for myself

Do yourself a favor. Enjoy your day off

Friends come and go. If he wants to be a jerk and block you or not talk to you then he isn't really your friend

If you're not gonna get in trouble you could stay home, but think of this when you want a day off and nobody wants to work for you

If he want's to jeopardize his job as well as your for something as stupid as that, then that's not a friend you want anyway.

How old is he, because that is extremely childish behavior and he needs to grow up.

You done the right thing and enjoy your day.

I get that no one will want to work for me but I've covered everyone multiple times and I've only taken like 2 days off since I've been working there. And if he actually couldn't work or something important came up believe me I would have worked for him, but something as dumb as a video game no way

You should take it because one day when you wanna do something he won't cover for you it's nice to be able to take a day off even it's something dumb
