I'm not sure what's happening to be honest I done the update and after I had done it, it continues to freeze and say I need to do it again...

My avatar changed from blank to the one I previously made. So yer it's a avatar update

It is an avatar update as it allows you to connect to Xbox live. The problem is once you've done the update you keep freezing after a couple of minutes and then says to do the update again..

Are you in 17526 ?
Also have you updated dashlaunch? 3.19?

As long as your on 17526. And the avatars are not gray you should be fine. It's possible it's a internet explore update.

If your scared to update the console thru Xbox live. Then update With usb

Go to Microsoft site. Go to Xbox 360 update by usb download to your usb and allow the console to update that way

Might have to rename it to $$ystempdate on the USB

i have loaded it it up witch one do i select ??

Should detect automatically the update. If not you will have to rename as I stated

May have to reboot the console
