Budget & Currency: $2000 USD

Peripherals & Monitor: None needed, i have a separate monitors & i have a keyboard. The budget for monitors is $500-$600 if you need it but i have a set budget of $2000 specifically on PC Parts

Games: fortnite, pubg, CoD Black Ops 4, and more

Software: OBS Sony Vegas

Aesthetics: Either open air or Glass side panel. I will be doing a custom watercooling loop(which has already been purchased so no need for a budget on that) so i would like some room to work with. A request is not the thermaltake p5, this is my current chassis and not happy with it.

Rebates/Promos: none needed

Details: I want to go with intel over ryzen, would also want to be able to play high settings while also streaming, would also like dual graphics cards but i dont even know if that possible with this budget tbh

When: As soon as possible.

So wait, you don't have any monitor(s) and have roughly a $2500 budget for PC and monitor(s)?
Or do you have monitor(s) already?
If you need monitor(s), any preference(resolution, refresh rate, etc)? If you have some, what are they?

If you've already got a custom loop, you'll want to let us know what parts you have for your loop so we can confirm compatibility with whatever we suggest.

Also, it's really hard to recommend Intel right now, X299 is such a bad platform due to the CPUs either not making sense over mainstream, or just being stupidly over-priced. Plus now even the mainstream CPUs are stupid over-priced and somewhat hard to find due to the shortage at Intel. Also, they're supposed to be bringing 8 cores to the mainstream soon, so while an 8700k is one of the more logical Intel options right now, I'd still suggest waiting for the 9700k and 9900k.

Yea the total budget would be $2500 but would also go up tp $3000 to add more monitors, would like to have a triple monitor setup but im alright with a double monitor set up. As for the water cooled partsi have the tubing, reservoir, pump, and fittings(atleast the ones i think i need, will obviously buy more if needed). The only thing i dont have are waterblocks which i will be getting when i know what cpu and gpu(if applicable) i will be getting. As for the intel cpu when is the lunch date for the ones you listed? Im okay with holding off this build for a month or two. Im okay with going with ryzen as long as it can handle streaming.

You're going to need some radiator's for the custom loop if you don't have any already.

For 9th gen Intel CPUs, rumours are that they're coming soon but Intel are having trouble with yields right now so there's a shortage, which might potentially mean a delay, especially since it hasn't been officially announced.

With an Intel CPU, like an 8700k, 9700k, or 9900k you would have a better experience playing games while streaming. Whereas with a Ryzen equivalent, the viewer of the stream will have a more pleasant experience. I'd probably just recommend a Ryzen 7 2700x to be honest. If you're determined to go Intel, I'd definitely want to wait for the 9700k or 9900k.

For a $2500ish system with a Ryzen CPU, this is what I'd look at;
[ Register or Signin to view external links. ] / [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

CPU: [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] ($299.99 @ Amazon)
Motherboard: [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] ($188.95 @ Walmart)
Memory: [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] ($144.99 @ Newegg Business)
Storage: [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] ($87.99 @ Amazon)
Storage: [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] ($58.89 @ OutletPC)
Video Card: [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] ($789.99 @ Newegg)
Case: [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] ($149.99 @ Amazon)
Power Supply: [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] ($90.00 @ Newegg Business)
Monitor: [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] ($295.89 @ Newegg Business)
Monitor: [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] ($419.99 @ Amazon)
Total: $2526.67

I'd maybe look at getting a 1TB 860 EVO instead of 500GB 860 EVO and 2TB HDD because it's easy to add an HDD later if you want/need, but to be fair a 500GB SSD is still loads, the 1TB 860 EVO is just a really great price.

For case, you've got plenty of options to be honest. The H500P Mesh is what I'd be looking at for a high end case to house a custom loop. Fractal Design Define R6 is a great case too, but not as nice with a custom loop IMO. NZXT H700 is another decent option(not the H700i though), and Corsair 570x would be a fine choice if you like that. Phanteks Enthoo EVOLV X would be a great choice also, but that's a $200 case.

If you're buying new, I'd get the RTX 2080 over a GTX 1080Ti for sure. RTX 2080 blocks are available already anyway, and I think the Gigabyte Windforce is a reference PCB, not 100% positive about that though- you'll want to find a reference PCB RTX 2080 for compatibility with EK's block. You could look in to a 1080Ti instead if you want, there will be more options for blocks with a 1080Ti, but I'd probably look at a used 1080Ti since you can get them for under $450/500. At that price, it would be much better value than the RTX 2080 as well, but if you're buying new the RTX 2080 just makes more sense since the price difference isn't that significant.

If you want to wait for Intel, just swap the 2700x for an i7-9700k, or i9-9900k when they release and swap the X470 motherboard for a Z370 or Z390 chipset mobo- I prefer Asus, Gigabyte boards are pretty good these days too though.
