Exam wroteChat wroteExam wroteChat wroteExam wroteChat wroteExam wroteChat wroteExam wroteChat wroteExam wroteChat wroteExam wroteChat wroteExam wroteChat wroteExam wroteChat wrote Don't install it buddy.. that wont work 99% of the time, you need to use the burnt disc to play the game..
Steps < USB REQUIRED >
- Insert GTA 4 ( Normal Disc )
- Go to install
- Once you hear the disc speed up & it pops up with your Storage Devices, Select your HDD
- Swap your disc and if it slows down you've messed up if it still goes fast you've done it correctly.
- hit the guide button, launch the game
Enjoy
Dont I swap my discs when im on storage devices pop up?
uh I think so, been a while..
try both haha, I'm pretty sure you swap disc then press your storage device and once it speeds up you swap it over.
Now that I think about it, that makes more since
so you're correct.
Follow all steps, once the pop up happens, swap disc really fast & press install once it speeds up and you hear it go fast launch game through hud
Launch the game with the ISO disc in it?
Yes, once you it pops up with your Storage Devices, swap your GTA Disc for your ISO disc, then press install & if it goes fast you've done it correctly then quickly launch the game using the ISO disc.
- It's the only way you'll run the game from the ISO it's almost impossible to get the games to install sometimes, I've burnt discs over and over to try and make them install, some xboxs it wont work for.
So launch the game while its on 20%?
Okay let me correct myself with steps:
Step 1) Put in GTA 4
Step 2) Go to install it, it should pop up with a storage device.
Step 3) Swap your Disc out and press Install
Step 4) It should start to speed up whilst it attemps to read the disc, don't give it time just launch the game.
Step 5) if step 3 does not work: Press install, swap your disc and launch the game
Here's a video guide:
Do the steps he does, although once it starts installing instead of intsalling it just launch the disc
i done that it gets to about 51% then pops up with message saying cant read disc.
fammmm
You dont let it install, you do all the steps & once you select HDD and swap your disc, you hit the guide button and launch it, your console will not let you install those discs. it works for some xboxs but not all, yours is a console that it'll not install on for certain games.
You need to do all the steps once it starts to install, Hit the Guide Button & Launch GTA V using the ISO disc
GTA 5???
I mean GTA 4, force of habbit >_>
Just do what he does in the video.. once he lets it install, you hit the guide button & press Launch Game or Launch GTA 4 whatever it says for you!
Screen went black then popped up with 'Unrecognized disc'
Go back to the video & redo that then as soon as you hear the disc speed up, launch it sometimes you will run into that issue where it doesn't read the disc, but keep trying
If it keeps happening I will pull my console out of storage and help you out if needed.
Ok, PS- Im on Xbox 360 e
I know man ;)
Oh my god!!! it worked, Thank you So MUCH!!!
Thank the lord, I just plugged in my console lmao
How long does the loading screen usally take?
shouldn't take that long, as long as you can see that it's moving etc then you're good to just wait

Yeah it can be rather slow. but as long as it's loading and making progress wait it out, sometimes it wont work but it should most of the time if you've got it done correctly.
