I get hit offline all the time, that's why i avoid giving out my gt (or adding people) who don't play anything i play.

Try to avoid joining LFG's with "OG" gamertags, they're usually the culprit's.

And try to avoid joining people's parties.

If you want to prevent getting hit offline, don't join people's parties, on the other hand if you want to join people's parties and watch them try to hit you and fail, get OVH protection, works the same as a VPN but it is unhittable.

Still a thing and pretty sad to be honest. I own my a few servers and could knock people offline but I don't. I knock my customers website's offline instead for the purpose of DDoS protection. Probably could smack some kids with 1000Gbps lol.
