Everything looks pretty solid. I would like to make a few suggestions though.
-Get an SSD for your boot drive. You'll thank me later when you installed all your programs and it takes 1-2 minutes to arrive at your desktop. My personal SSD on my gaming station at home has an 850 evo 256GB and it has all of 30gb left and still boots in under 20-30 seconds.
-Don't get windows 10 pro. Not worth it and it's overpriced. Get an OEM copy of Windows 10 home, you can buy these from websites link Kingquin (my favorite and i trust them) or many other sites that sell game/cd keys.
Other than what i wrote above, it looks like what you have should work well with each other. Your fans are a bit pricey, but it looks like you're going for flashy rather than performance. Overall it looks good, i would just stress the importance of the SSD.

Would you get the ssd as external in this case? Or internal? I think for external, it would provide me with the usb range to plug it from another system to the other system.

This pc is just made specifically for gaming and or computer engineering. I think the pc is suitable for gaming in my opinion.

I'll keep that in mind.

SSD would be internal as your operating system cannot be installed on an external drive. You can see average SSD performance over HDD in the picture below. M.2 is the fastest drive out, but we're talking $$$ money with the speed increase.

m.2 is a form factor, like 2.5". Just because an SSD uses the m.2 form factor, does not make it faster than a "traditional" 2.5" SATA SSD. There are loads of m.2 SSDs which still use the SATA protocol, which will limit speeds anyway. So, for example, a WD Green m.2 SSD will be slower than a 2.5" Samsung 860 EVO, because the 860 EVO is the better SSD.
The Samsung 950 Pro is an NVMe SSD which is why it's so fast, it just happens to come in m.2 form factor. There are plenty of 2.5" NVMe SSDs out there.
It's ridiculously overkill. I still don't understand the $40 headset in a $4400+ set-up. Also, for that matter, 1080p monitor makes me cringe hard lol.

Ignoring monitors, this is like $1250+ cheaper and still probably way overkill for you, but we don't know your exact uses so I can't be sure. However, I've included a significantly better monitor here, better headphones, 2TB worth of SSD, and a 3TB HDD for whatever doesn't make sense on an SSD. RTX 2080Ti's aren't in stock anywhere AFAIK and probably won't be for a while. If you were to get a 2080Ti, don't pay more than $1200/1250 for one.
Again though, don't really know what games you're playing, whether you'll be overclocking, etc etc, and I doubt you're gonna spend $4k+ on a system any time soon.

What you plan on using the PC for is important. Just for example if you planned on using it purely for gaming the CPU is just overkill. Most games aren't going to take advantage of more than 4 cores on a CPU although that can and probably will change eventually. It's also outlandish to not have an SSD in a build that's over 3k.
To my knowledge the i7-8700k is still the best CPU for gaming.
The motherboard is also overkill, you're only using 4 memory slots and a single video card (which is completely fine), along with the storage there's really no reason for you to be getting this motherboard. You could still get a cool looking LED one that would fit your build for like $200.

Don't get an i9, they are not meant for gaming but rather for rendering and high workload processy
