i have spent ages on some of my ARs trying to get longshots for gold and i struggle to get the medal when i kill people at a distance.

Whats the best way to get longshots?

Remove all attachments that increase the range. Including the optic. Find a long flank, go prone to improve accuracy and hope for the best. Hardcore also helps a bunch.
