so im looking to upgrade to a 1080 but im worried my cpu will bottleneck.
so my cpu is a intel - Core i5-7600K 3.8GHz quad-core processor is it worth getting a 1080?
i mostly play rainbow six siege and BO4

Detailed answer: there is always a bottleneck. With games, it's usually the CPU or GPU and it's not a bad thing. Something has to be the limiting factor.

It doesn't really matter. The CPU is very good and won't limit the 1080's performance. In some games, the CPU will be maxed and be there limiting factor. In others, the graphics card will be maxed.

When people say "bottleneck," they usually mean pairing a cheap CPU like a Celeron with a high-end card. It's not relevant here.
