So does anybody have any idea when this is going to happen? I've heard for a long time now, people saying "I heard Microsoft was going to do this soon" but it's been like a year. I'm really thinking about buying a PC just for keyboard and mouse on fortnite, But I'd rather save $800. Anybody have any updates or anything? I've looked into this myself and just find posts that were made in January last year saying "I heard sometime soon". Much appreciated!

EDIT: I know about the XIM adapters that allow you to use Keyboard and Mouse on the Xbox, however, they just blocked XIM adapters from the game, and doesn't work at all anymore. If there's any other way I'm open ears tho lol

My mate uses keyboard and mouse on the Xbox one? You just need an adapter for it. I'm sure razor sre working with Xbox also

You need an adapter type thing, pretty sure they retail at something ridiculous like £99.

Pretty sure fortnite and microsoft have said they ahve stopped support for the adapater, and when using a mouse and keybaord you will be forced to play with other mouse and keyabord players thus not having an advantage. I cant remember the name of the adapatr but it looks like a usb.
Ontop of this microsoft have partnered with razer to bring razer products such and mouse and keyabord combos to xbox

Yeah, you use to be able to use the XIM adapter for Xbox Fortnite but they completely blocked it and doesn't work anymore.

Keyboard and Mouse support are gonna be in alpha testing for one of the newer dashboards. I believe I read that news story on here actually lol. But you're going to be forced to play with other mouse and keyboard players so not really sure what the point is in something like fortnite.

You can get a adapter for cheap, but the bad thing is that it wont show what buttons to press on screen for it

The devs of Xim fixed that on fortnite a few days after Epic tried to patch it, just letting you know.

I'm sure the response time with the adapter for mouse and keyboard is pretty shit tbh that's what my mate said anyway
