I dont understand why they had to pay you? did they not provide PPE? pretty lucky it wasnt too deep aye coulda been a lot nastier

I was paid compensation fees, it was their responsibility to provide me with Stihl Saw training, which I wasn't and I wasn't asked if I was trained. There was no first aid on site and there wasn't a suitable risk assessment for the job I was doing. There's also no P.P.E suitable to stop my neck getting sliced open, I mean I wore a dust mask and had my ear defenders on but what use was that lol

well Im glad you got money but you should have turnt round and said your not doing it without training. and yeah I agree its law there should always be a first aider on each shioft so fair enough glad your okay

Yeah you definitely got very lucky with that "slight" injury. It definitely could have been a WHOLE lot worse

typical of the company to hold back on the money youy deserve, they'll do anything to stop them paying out money. but congrats on finally winning it bro, hopefully it all healed up fine.
