Don't buy it for hosting :facepalm:

But here is how you do it,

You system link an Xbox Live account with your Jtag using a patch made specially to infect the retail xbox's account.

Then whenever that account gets HOST online it makes the infections work.

Some of these may include,

Unlimited Knife Range,
Unlimited Ammo/No reloads,
Xp upon Suicide,
Etc.

Get it now mate?

You can only infect an account for Xp with a Jtag.

You can't pass your infections onto someone else without system linking their account.

However,I think Speed infections may be transferable.

would you advise buying a jtag for all the offline games around or is it really not worth it?

I bought mine for these reasons,

Running emulators for old games (PS1,GBA etc)

Being able to store all my games on my 360.

Free XBLA games,

Free DLC,

FSD,

Free = Good in my book ;)

Xp Lobbies/System Link, Well they are good benefits but did not have anything to do with my decision to purchase one.

I think Jtags offline is a good thing and I would only recommend buying one for offline usage if you intended to use it to it's best ability.
