The worst part is I didnt get caught by my dad. In the morning her mom called my dad and said that it was great having me over and that I was welcome whenever. And thats how he found out.

i have never been grounded but do have a great story
so me and my friend were sneaking out of my basement window at 3 am for some quick cigars. We went out into my backyard (2 acres) and chilled by my fort. (check out my old post on my backyard to see what i mean ) anyway, we see my dad in the kitchen window scanning the yard with a flashlight. We knew we were caught so we ran back around some bushes and puffed our last puffs. We crawled back through the window and did the axe spray down and breath mint. After that, we ran back to the couch and faked sleeping. My dad came down, looked at me, and said come upstairs. He sounded p.o.ed... we had a 45 min talk of me convincing him to that we where just ding dong ditching and him explaining that he saw the window open in my room. Then the lie fell apart when the damn smoke alarm went off. we had smoked so much it set the alarm off...
