I just got my Jtag yesterday and it already got the RROD. The secondary error was 0102 which is the e18 error. I just wanted to know id there was any way to fix this without re-soldering the mother board. I have a Xenon Jtag and i need help!

+rep if you can help me (a lot of rep)

E18: Error in the "Digital Backbone" (CPU/GPU/RAM), this is usually caused by a cold solder joint between the GPU and the mainboard.
There are two theories to fixing this one deals with the "X" clamps that hold down the chips. The other involves re-Heating the chips.

I know that. The thing is it already has the x clamp fix and a 12v fan mod so i really have no idea how this could have happened.

Ok, first you get a baseball bat and start smcking your Jtag Shouting "You Dare Get RROD Again and ill kill you!"

Second, Throw into a pool, lake, river, stream whatever (Water)

Finally, you plug it in while its still wet, and then it should go on fire, if it does youv done it right

There you go Great Toutorial

Most Jtags are going to be refurbs...Most people in the marketplace are kids buying from other kids...

A few professionals in there but not many so don't go looking for a pro in marketplace. lol

0102 is one of the most common secondary error codes so it's no surprise. It all depends on how bad your solder balls are, that's it...If you have several with cracks, it's going to cause the console to run hotter, thus overheating the bad boy...

The only thing you can do to take care of it correctly, is to send it off for a BGA Reflow...Anything less is just going to be a temporary trick and it'll just come right back..
