I had the 8xxx dash and i wanted to update to kinect. i dont have my original nand so i just dumped what i had. i used my dumped nand and my cpu key with freeboot toolbox maker and used what it made and flashed my jtag. when i turned it on its a black screen. no picture but i can hear it. when i open xell it works but not the dash. can someone help??

Here, you are going to need your XBR3 NAND.

now download this [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

Next open your flashdmp in the program and it will create an image for you. (9199) after flashing the 9199, get another flashdmp and use that to create the 0.04 image

i dont understand. how do i get another flashdmp? and what do i do with it?

To get a flashdmp, put flash360 and the media folder on a USB, lauch the xex from Xexmenu, hit X

yea my jtag has no picture, only sound. but i have the flashdmp from b4. thats what i used to make the image b4 and it **** up my jtag. how do i fix the black screen?

there isnt a new freeboot i dont think so but if there is then i stand corrected
