TTGx360 wrote at the start of Ascension, you hear a mans voice saying something along the lines of turning the mechanism on and 'she' is coming closer (Samantha?). Most people think nothing of it and carry on playing but it actually hints to a major easter egg

(All the things you need to press or activate have a whistling sound so if you have a headset this will help otherwise put your volume up on your TV or audio system. It sounds like its wind and everything to do with the mystery man has that sound. )

NOTE: Make Sure you Blow Up The Rocket as it Lifts off (Ray Gun), to do this major easter egg you need 4 people.

Step 1:

GERSCH DEVICE REQUIRED

Go near the lander near Dr. Flopper and look outside, down the stairs. There will be a glowing generator outside. Throw a gersch device at it, and it will be sucked in.

Step 2:

Go to the lander near the stamin-up machine. Under the stairs (where the barrier glitch is), there is a TV with static. Walk up to it, and press X. This is the first power node.

Step 3:

On a monkeys round, position one player at each perk machine excluding quick revive. There will be a button to press at each, a whistling sound will be made to help you locate it. Have each player press a button simultaneously. This is the second power node

Step 4:

Go to the area under the rocket cleared out by launching it. There will be a clock on the wall. have all 4 players stand on the scale under it. Stand there for a full minute, watching the clock. When the minute is up, a nuke will go off. THIS WILL KILL ANY CRAWLERS YOU HAVE This is the third power node.

Step 5:

Riding a lander will now result in you activating a letter, based on which ride you do.

THE CORRECT WORD IS 'LUNA'

to spell luna start out by having the lander in the centrifuge room have one person get on the call the lander over (while one guys still riding) from the luna pad by the stamin up machine then call luna lander back to the centrifuge room after call for the lander by the speed cola finally call back by the stamin up machine.

This will activate another power node.

Step 6: (not completed yet because it keeps saying more power but more info will come soon on how to complete the easter egg hunt)

Upgraded Thunder gun and Ray Gun will most likely be required

There will now be a whistling projector by the staminup lander. The projector will point to a spot on the ground. Throw a gersch device at this spot, then shoot all your upgraded thundergun and ray gun ammo in to it, then jump through it or flop into it (dive in it with dr. flopper). the mystery guy will say "....more power" or something else but idk how to get pass this node

So there you go, try this and see if you can figure out the rest of the riddle. if not keep trying.

Perks:

Juggernog- gives triple health, and is effective for 5 hits

SpeedCola- increase the speed of your reload time

QuickRevive- decrease reviving rate to half for more than one player. Gives a second chance in single player

StaminUp- close to marathon in mw2, it takes no falling damage and gives you lightweight

FlopperPHD-this is effective only for high dolphin dives, once you do so explosions come out of you effectively killing the zombies within a five foot radius/diameter also no recoil on the ray gun

About Ascension
Ascension is the eighth Zombie map that appears in the First Strike map pack. It takes place in an abandoned Soviet Cosmodrome. The map includes Tank Dempsey, Nikolai Belinski, Takeo Masaki, and Edward Richtofen and new weapons such as the Gersch Device and Matryoshka Dolls, as well as new perks such as PhD Flopper and Stamin-Up. A new enemy (space monkeys) also appears in this map. Some zombies are wearing spacesuits with smashed helmets. The artwork cover for Ascension, seen on the promotional poster for "First Strike", is clearly based on Inglourious Bastards. Some zombies are wearing gas masks, and one could assume they were wearing it before succumbing to zombification. Zombies in Ascension have new models, as they are soviets rather than Nazis. There are Matroyshka dolls modeled after Takeo, Nikolai, Richtofen, and Dempsey, hidden throughout the map.

Pack-a-Punch machine
To gain access to the pack-a-punch machine, you have to activate all lunar landers. Once you have ridden on all three, you can activate the rocket by pressing the button to the right of the power switch. After the rocket has taken off, the large doors underneath the rocket will open and the Pack-A-Punch Machine will be to the right. It costs 5000 points as usual. Unlike Kino der Toten and Five, players can stay in the Pack-A-Punch room for as long as they like. Also, there are zombie-barricades in the room, most-likely to prevent players from camping there. Ascension is the name of a group of Nazi scientists that helped the Russians in Black Ops.

Space Monkeys
Space monkeys are in fact the hellhound and Pentagon Thief replacement. Similar to how the Pentagon Thief has the ability to steal a player's weapon, space monkeys have the ability to remove player's perks. This is done not by directly stealing a perk, as is the case with weapon stealing with the doctor, rather, the space monkeys navigate their way to one of the Perk-a-Cola machines that any player may have. Players can tell which perk machine is being attacked by paying attention to their perk symbols, at the bottom left of the screen; while a perk machine is under attack its respective symbol will begin pulsating. To prevent this from happening, the player must be in a team of four and all four players must have the same perks. the players must spread out to the perks they have and defend it until the round is over. After the monkeys temporarily disable the machine all players with the perk will be subject to lose the disabled perk. Defending the perk machine under attack by killing the monkeys is the only way to prevent the perk loss. Also, after the death of the last monkey, just like with the crazy scientist and hellhound rounds, a max ammo drops; however, a new power up drops as well, which assigns a random perk to each player in the party. The downside is that the new powerup only appears if you finish the monkey round without ANY damage to the perk machines you made purchases from. Also be careful while throwing grenades at these monkeys as they can and will throw them back at you.


Easter Eggs
Three teddy bears holding sickles are located around the map. Find these and the song, Abracadavre, plays. (Remember to hold X or Square with your crosshairs on them to "find" them).
The first teddybear is in the Centrifuge Room. When you go up the stairs, right and on the end of that walkway is the first bear.
The second teddy bear is behind a gate on the left, nearby the lunar lander with the claymore in the area.
The last teddy bear is nearby the "Speed Cola lunar lander", past the Speed Cola, when you have the wall in front of you. Turn right and on top of the wall there is the last teddy bear.
The song is called "Abracadavre" by Elena Siegman
There are Matryoshka Dolls of the characters scattered around the level, along with Teddy Bears holding Sickles. *A small easter egg is in the room below the area where the Mystery Box and Power Switch are located. If the player goes towards the damaged windows, turns left and looks at the table, there will be papers, a black binder, two other binders in the back, and a Matryoshka Doll. If the player aims their crosshairs at the black binder in front of them, there will be an alien like voice and their character will respond to it in a way, sometimes with the information about their past.
There is a red telephone similar to the ones in 'Five.' It is next to the mystery box spawn, in the room next to the power; there may be more.

open it and go to the right then run up the stairs, then up the stairs again
open the door and turn on the power
go box ONCE
open the door that is behind the power
open the door for the lunar lander then call it and take it back to where you started
now go upstairs and go out of the first door you opened
go left and open the gate now when you get to the end there is a door on the right
open it and call the lunar
ride that back to where you started
run upstairs again
go right then go round a truck then run left
go upstairs and call the lunar
take it back to the middle and run upstairs
go to the power and press x on it
run to the closed pack a punch door
go right and PACK A PUNCH
