Look that is not my only proof. If richtofen killed maxis and sam (Which he did) then on the chalkboard it says "Edward i know it was you!" So that is my other proof. And it also sounds like Richtofen in the radio.

One thing I've noticed about this is in the mission Vendetta, right at the start of the mission. Take a look at General Amusel, he looks exactly like Richtofen. Mabye Richtofen is Amusel?

There is also sayings that richtofen says like:
You are my child, basterd child, nonetheless child.
