ok, ima tell you how to get Microsoft to fix your xbox for free if your warranty has ran out :O
1. First you need to sign into xbox.com
2. Click on support at the top left
3. Follow the red box's
4. Ok, now you wan't to register your xbox,
Just follow the instructions, make sure you add your real details
5. Now, we want to request our repair,
Just do what it prompts you to do,
6. This is the important part, also it is the key to the free repair
Notice how i said i had E74, you must put this as the error, but look at the notes, look at what i have put, all you need to do is put something along them lines
basically all i have said is i have E74 error, which i don't and now also i am getting " your error" i put open tray error, you can put what error you have there.
7. The beauty of this is that all xbox's come with a 2 year warranty for i think all error's, but E74 error is covered for 4 years, and most people will still have this warranty
Notice how it says free delivery.
8. Now on to shipping, make sure you have put the correct shipping info.
Ok i suggest picking the option for them to send you a UPS shipping label, the beauty of this is that UPS came to my front door and collected my xbox and took it away, i am not sure if this will be the case for everyone, it may be, either way, its free shipping.
9. the rest is straight forward, all you have to do is wait till they process your repair request, and that is that
Last part
I will show you proof that this works.
Note - If you have modified, tampered or even just opened your xbox, they will not fix it as they will blame you for the error.
Credit to Liquor_Man for showing me how to get my xbox repaired and shipped for free
Ok, more proof that it works, i just went on xbox.com to check the status of my repair, and here ya go
