Okay i re-flowed it and it works now;, however, the only thing is that my jtag re-starts its self every 2 minutes. It's improving but it still annoys the shit out of me.

OK so I tried to update my new jtag to the kinect dashboard. I have updated my old jtag that got RROD and I was able to do it just fine. Now I keep getting the E71 error everytime I try to update my jtag to the new dash. Do you have any idea why I keep getting the E71 error when trying to update it? Could it be because I don't have the original nand.

Getting the correct nand doesn't hurt... It'll probably take E71 away instantly,... on the other hand, check the nand make sure it contains all it's blocks etc.
Try another donor nand, etc..

Could it be because I don't have the original nand.It is not caused by not having the original NAND. That doesn't really matter anymore. The problem may be that you have the aud_clamp wiring and you don't know. The problem might also be you have bad blocks in your flashdmp.
E71 - This error is related to a failed dashboard update, can also be NAND related if you have an Infectus chip. It can also often be caused by a cold joint under the Southbridge(if it wasnt caused by an update). According to XBH: Error within Xam

To fix bad blocks, you need a image without the bad blocks. That is where the original NAND comes in handy.
A flashdmp shouldn't have bad blocks though
To fix a bad NAND, I would do this Forums/viewtopic/t=722496.html
And than update to kinect after.

TTG-Bradders wrote Hello, iam trying to get a file into ff viewrI'm pretty sure the file has to be called patch_mp.ff with no numbers. Try that out and let me know if it works.
