xenon's are easier to jtag but jaspers and falcons are far more reliable than xenons because they don't get RRoD as easy!

i have a falcon and its really good, i leave on for like 6 hours a day maybe a little less and iv had it for like a few months say 4 motnths and not once its had an error. I just boot freedash and change the fan speed to 75% to keep it cool

Xenon gets RRoD super super easily!
They are very cheap although, and are easiest to get online because they accept both types 1 and 2 kv's.

But, since a jtag will never be online again, you are going to want to get either a falcon or a jasper. jaspers are a little more expensive, but you will never have to worry about RRoD on them. Falcons are my personal choice because with a 12v fan mod you are pretty much guaranteed not to get RRoD, although even without the fan mod you are still fairly safe.

Dont worry about Zephyr or Opus btw, or especially Valhalla. <---rarely found jtagged or in Valhalla's case, impossible

Everyone's so negative about the xenons...
They're okay if you get a few fan modifications.
And if they've been reballed with leaded solder they are as good as any falcon.

Jasper - Newest Motherboard!

definately a jasper. rrod is almost unheard of with them. a xenon has like a 50% fail rate. i personaly like falcons though because they barley get rrod and you can get them for a decent price:) hope i helped

the only reason the jasper or the falcons arent the best only is because if some gives your a type 1 kv your EFFD

There has never been a Valhalla JTAG because that is the slims motherboard which when made only had the latest dashboard in 2010.
