WRRRROOONG! a dev kit is short for Developers Kit, aka, You can do absolutely everything that the developers can do, you can change absolutely any and everything you want, you can change anything to do with the xbox, memory configs, well anything that the xbox has you can change it.. works like a jtag, but all in all, a dev kit is 10000% more reliable and is just a bigger hdd.

it works almost identical to a jtag, but if you want one, be prepared to spend some money because these things dont come cheap!

aka, a xbox 360 slim shiny w/dev kit = $2500
but a none slim aka old xbox w/dev kit = $500 - $1000

because like i said, there 1000000% more reliable then a jtag, theyve got many many more functions then a jtag, ..

PLUS they will not give you the rrod, all it is basically is a biiiig hdd that has everything in it..
