Yes he is sucked though the hole but isnt dead see Gersch is the mystery man as he is stuck and mostly you use his device as to the first node ect ect Just to let evreyone know

Idk if this is of any help but i think i found something that adds on to the "hide and seek" easter egg. When u finish the ultimate easter egg in acension and goes black and white for a couple of seconds u can barely hear sam say "come find me". So idk if this helps or not but to me its kind of interesting
