ok, so basically is there any way to play in hd and record too? on xbox 360
i prefer hdmi but will use 1080p component.
i have a COMPOSITE cap card. lots of extra video cables lying around too, lol
right now i just make xbox 360 use non hd, which puts out signals to BOTH the composite and component ends of the xbox 360 video wire. the component half goes to my tv, the other goes into the cap card.

Can't be done unfortunately. Some people say you can get adapters but they are using different signals so that can't be done.
