So i was wondering, what is the BIG advantage of having a development kit compaired to having a jtag? I know with a devkit you get PNet but iv been hearing its easy to get banned from PNet and that older consoles (xenon, zephyr, etc) are getting disconnected from PNet due to being outdated and actual game developers only using newer falcon/jasper dev kits? Jtags have XBC and Xlink Kai but devkits can also use those so PNet is one advantage i know of but if its real easy to get banned off PNet then its not really much of an advantage, is it? And then theres the side car, all iv heard is that its basically pointless and jacks up the price for having a useless piece of plastic sitting on top the devkit, what are the advantages to a sidecar?

Basically any info clearly stating advantages/disadvantages to having a devkit compaired to having a jtag would be appreciated as i am considering getting a devkit but want to know what im gaining out of the devkit that i cant do with my jtag. For 500 - 700 bucks, it better be some amazing advantages lol :p

if u like to mod for fun and just mess around get free games and emulators and stuff...then get a jtag
