I think the birds and weapons don't have any significance really. As to the guys standing in top left corner that's quiet interesting didn't notice it.

And to the person who's saying why would they hide something in the poster on one of their posters before black ops they hid a bunch of stuff inside the poster of Black Ops that were for zombies such as a phone number that you could call and it would play the random box sound and then a bunch of static. Random Box sound + Static from radios on map before and after you play them.

So it is quiet possible that there is information retaining to Ascension on the First Strike poster as to whether or not these are it, I'm not quiet sure but nice observations.
